Caron is the founder and owner of Birdy’s Daughter, a Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee company based in Toronto, Canada.
Caron worked for years at several Canadian financial institutions, managing their executive receptions and catering groups. After leaving Scotia Bank to help launch a Third Wave Specialty Coffee Shop, Caron was approached by a family friend to help import Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee to Canada.
Through this opportunity, Caron discovered her passion for Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee and the rich history that goes along with it.
As a Jamaican-born, Canadian-raised woman, Caron relishes her role as a bridge between Jamaican coffee farmers and the rest of the world.
Caron is a certified Personality Assessment Facilitator and owner of Caron Morgan Development which helps individuals, teams and organizations increase their emotional intelligence through understanding their personality styles. She is a musician and sung for several years with the Toronto Mass Choir, gospel group.
